The value of a cymbal

Hey all-
I have a couple of crashes that I want to sell on ebay. They're used, in great condition and about 10 years old. But I don't know what their value is, used.
So, any ideas on how to ascertain what the $$ of used gear is? When I've bought used cymbals in the past, I've been charged $10.00 per inch which is what I'm inclined to do with mine. Ex; 18" Paiste=$180.00
Any feedback/advice would be great.
Thanks,
Stacey

What are they?

Condition, brand and quality or model are usual indicators. If they are a sought after model they will get a higher price if in mint condition.
IMO anyone selling cracked or damaged cymbals shouldn't bother.
If they are 10 years old and in good condition with usual stick marks and scratches, logos intact, no dents, cracks, sound bell hole they should fetch around half price of new and reduce considerably from there relative to condition. A bit of market research will assist, don't know about that 18" concept ?

thanks mouse. i have done some research but thought i'd ask around before listing them; paiste 16" sound formula crash and a zildjian-avedis 18" power crash.
thanks again.

Nothing ventured nothing gained. The sound formula were good cymbals, no idea about the Zildjian but likely a quality cymbal too. Both could fetch good money if in good nick. Best of luck.

The sound formula is worth about $90US and the Avedis is worth about $60us. Both have to have no edge marks, dings or cracks.
The SF will sell faster. Hope this helps
