If you have a crack and leave it as is it just keeps getting deeper. Drilling a hole at the end of the crack is supposed to help it to stop spreading, but I think it really only postpones the inevitable a little longer.

Hmm... is there a solution for large chunks taken out of the cymbal? I have one that looks like it has bite marks >< I've been meaning to replace it, just not sure what i want

keep playing it. You can't put new metal there to make it like new :P if ti sounds fine just keep using it, just say that it's a custom made cymbal As an update though, after spot drilling, one of the veins from the crack(yes i drilled where it ended) split off into 2 more lol so iono if I just didn't get all the way to the end of that crack or what, but it split so I'll have to do them too :P O well, guess I'll have to order a new one here.

lol did u just talk ur self out of spending around $100+? hey nice conversation I under stand it all, loud and confusing.

talked myself in almost :P so I can get a new china that'll in time become a custom one I do want a splash though so hopefully I'll be able to find some spash+china deal.
