Zildjian ZXT Pro or Sabian B8

Torn between the two.

Can anyone lead me in either direction? I know it should be all about your ears, but i really can't choose. Can anyone underline any defining differences?

Cheers for your help guys!

I'm not really familiar with the ZXT but I can tell you that the B8s are very bright sounding cymbals. I would try to get to a store that carries both lines and audition them if you can.

Neither, save your money and wait to buy higher quality cymbals. I was thinking about going either the ZXTs or ZBTs a little while ago, but found neither were worth it.

I suggest the Zildjian ZHT series or the Sabian Pro Sonix series. Both are 1 series higher than the ZXTs or the B8 pros. Or even, save for even longer and go for even higher quality, buying the cymbals one at a time. Also, I would say don't feel restricted to brand or series, just buy what sounds good to your ears.

But, if you really must have new cymbals or are really desperate, I would go with the Sabian cymbals, I prefered their sound when I had heard them.

Hope that helped in some way.

Sabian all the way here(yes i have 2 Zildjian crashes and a 12" wuhan)there products are cheep in price but can sound just as good as there more expencive modles, wana buy good hi hats? You have $200 something and the good ones cost $350 I added a A custom Zildjian Fast crash as my top hat, i even use it as a crash in open position, as the B8 top did stand up to the test(currently using B8 bottem hat)
