Re: Help! Zildjian or Sabian

I have Sabian, Zildjian and Paiste - it was just the way I had the chance to buy the cymbals... I use to love Zildjian but I managed to buy some HHX, Dave Weckl signature, and also heard a lot of other new sounds from Sabian, that I think I will probably die with Sabian on my kit

Also, I like Mike Portnoy very much so I'll buy his stax and splashes so, soon the Zildjian stuff that I have might dissapear

I have 2 Zildjian china and they are great, probably keep them

But I want to change my Zildjian ride with a Sabian one... So depends on what you play and what sounds do you want to have

Just now I preffer Sabian

Bout a month later that cracked and I still have to send it off for a replacement.
Hows life?, i think your just hitting them wrong, really the tightness and angle(take it from the person with no luck in breaking cymbals with out useing plyers)

Thumbs up Re: Help! Zildjian or Sabian

sabian vaults are badass. alittle pricey, but they Will last for a long time and best damn sounding cymbols iv ever heard. i use them myself. they dominate everything. you will end up spending as much money replacing others and buying new ones. might as well save for the best. its really worth it man.

i would say for your first one, the 18in. sounds superb just riding on it, and sounds awsome with just a hit

Re: Help! Zildjian or Sabian

Go with the A's. I have used both and sold all my Sabians even though they were good cymbals. I only like the A's and K's. If you want to save money email me and I will tell you the very best place to buy. I know a guy that stands behind his cymbals. He sells all the major at discount prices. Just tell him you want endorsement prices. Zildjian, Sabian, Meinl, and Masterworks Turkish Cymbals. Oh heck I will show you all NOTICE I have no connection with this company and receive no compinsation of any kind from them. I am a Turk Master Endorcee for now anyway. I like my Turkmasters better than any cymbal I have ever had.
