Zildjian A Custom Medium Ride

hey guys i have a b8pro medium ride, right now 20 inch, i mean its a pretty decent cymbal its just i need an upgrade, but i want a ride that i can sometimes crash on... my b8pro ride, i cant crash on because the sound is way to washy.

are all medium rides not so good for crashing?

Re: Zildjian A Custom Medium Ride

Right now i am using an A custom ride. It is my favorite cymbal that i own and probably the most used. It is extremly crashable and has a very good tone. Its not so much pingy but it is very bright. I have used it on a couple of gigs and it has done pretty well for itself. Im very pleased with it. You can go to the zildjian website and hear sound clips as to what it sounds like. Good luck.

i had that cymbal before too and it was very unpleasent to crash on it.

if you want to stick to sabian you should get the AAX studio ride.
this is the only AAX ride that is good for crashing.

I have that same ride and love it for the same reasons. I've had it for about 2 years and I keep finding ways to hit it and make new sounds. Every time I think I need a washer or bigger ride, I keep coming back to my A custom.
