Ah yes, the search for the drummer's holy grail. It's great when you get just the thing you are after, and doesn't need be the dearest.
Had a 20" K Dark ride once but i found it got lost when soft turned to hard (music).
Nice sounding cymbal all the same. . I did have a
Zildjian 20" Z light ride, it was an early one with the stamped pattern and it was great for rock to heavy and sounded great too. I finally have ended up with a 21"
Zildjian A Sweet ride, which suits what i do nicely and versatile enough to cover the many styles of music which my band covers.
I recently got an
Zildjian A 17" crash med - thin and it matches nicely between my AAX studio crash 16" and the 21" ride which also doubles as a nice crash.
I have coming in the post a pair of AAX stage hats and a pair of K standard hats i just won on EBay.
Couldn't make my mind up and bidded on both and won both at a great price.
Both have great reviews so looking forward to their arrival. My good old
Paiste 2002's are going to sulk.
Warning cymbalitis is like a great tattoo, get one you gotta have another.
