I love the set that I have : ) Have had them for just under a year I think now, no defects at all. The guy that had em' before me I think owned them for about a year previous so yea. My personal recommendation's either xs20's or meinls byzance series cymbals
meinls are all to gether not for your jazz gigs(cant fraze it but...) they are for harder music as like Z customs...One reason why my music store dosnt stock them.
Xs I love them for the money for the sound ratio.
So there ok for cymbals , because this is the set i will have with my taye's for now,latter i will
save up money and get Pastie mabey the signature series,
haah, stay away from wuhan unless you hit real soft and/or have the ...dunno how else to say this..most perfect cymbal striking technique :P Or atleast in my past they've been known to crack easily.
never broke my wuhan had it for months and i hit top on... slashing the cymbals keeps them from breaking(for splashes at least).Then again i dont think i hit hard... i have only broken 1 stick, and still have my original pair
lol, I've broken quite a few sticks...a lot lol. My wuhan china(lil' 14in guy) lasted about 3 months I think...maybe 2 before the first crack came. Nothing wrong with my xs20's though
