You are on the right track here!.....
You should always buy your cymbals as if money were truely no object!
The reason behind this line of thinking is that (From experience) I do know that if you are the least bit less than satisfied w/yr cymbals yu r gonna
jones over the ones you realy want and love until you find a way to make it happen!!!
Bottom line is getting somethin that's almost but not really good enough will ...)IN THE END) wind up costing you more when you go to replace them and can only sell your less than PREMO used cymbals for way less that they cost you and you still must find a way to finance what you really love most at the end of the day!
...../..........................
It's kinda like being married to someone you don't really love while your true love waits alone and afraid in the dark for you to come for her...but you can't because you were a "cost concious" fool..... and are already Betrothed to a woman you don't love!!!! ........ BAD MOVE!
Save your pennies.....Don't think in terms of the entire bouquet of cymbals all at once...Buy 'em as you can afford them...ONE AT A TIME!
YOU WILL BE SO MUCH MORE SATISFIED AND HAPPY IN THE END!
"Saving X# of dollars (because your a budjet concious pogue) equals = saving X dollars!......Owning the cymbals that are your true love.....PRICELESS!
Drums can be tuned and damped and head changed ad-infinitum untill you get happy with how those tubs sound!
THERE AIN"T much that you can do to a cymbal...... to change it once you own it!
The sound you love is a horrible thing to waste!
Buy the pie you'll love 'till you die..... It'll save you money.... AYE!!! (matey!)
Me two cents fer what it's worth!
