Need help finding a bell cymbal


I have been looking around for a bell cymbal for a while now and don't knwo which to choose. I was considering gettign a zilbel but I heard that an Ice Bell had a nicer sound to it. anyone have advice?

ok. yea i heard an ice bell and a zil bel and i think the ice bell sounds betetr and its cheaper.

i wish they were really cheap so you could buy a couple of em or something! the devil wears prada has some really cool "bell" parts. check out guitar center is what i'd do and try em and get some opinions from staff n whatnot. good luck!

I bought a 10" ice bell a long long time ago. I wish I'd gone with a smaller bell. That army helmet just rings on and on.

Consider whose bell sound it is you're trying to emulate. Find out what they use, then try them all. You'll make a much more informed choice that way.

I really like this guy on youtubes ice bell. His user name is vadrum and i forget his real name. I went on his site and it said what kind he used so i am going to look for that bell.

Hey has anyone played/tryed a Meinl Classics Medium Bell Cymbal? its 70 bucks on musiciansfriend and i was thinking about gettin it. i'm kinda goin for the heavier music bell instead of latin er whatever, if ya know what i mean! let me know if ya know anything about it. thanks.
