Look into the Wuhan china cymbals. They are after all based where the china style Cymbals originated, have the most authentic sound and are probably going to be cheaper then the Zildjian, Sabian and Paiste's of similar quality.

According to Musicians Friend you can get them for between 50 and 80 bucks. Here's the link:

Buy Wuhan China Cymbal with Rivets | China & Effect Cymbals | Musician's Friend

Also look at Bosphorus and Meinl for good cymbals at a lower price.

Yo singer! Turn off the caps lock my man, you look like a spammer.

Go to your shop and try the wuhans and staggs sometimes you can find a diamond in the rough. I've got a Paiste alpha 18" myself and I've never heard a bad tone from it in 10 years. Others have agreed so try those and their cheaper brothers too.

First rule of cymbals, "every single cymbal sounds different" so go try them all and buy the one you like.

First Off Skinslapper I Always Use Caps And I Never Told Him Not To Try Different Types Of Cymbals I Just Told Him How I Got Mine. I Have Been Playing A Very Long Time
And The Cymbals That I Prefer Are Zildjian Custom K They Have One Problem And That Is, They Are Very Expensive And Sometimes Hard To Get. Go To Your Music Shop And Try Them Out, You'll Be Surprised.
