Im referring to any one that thinks just buying "professional" cymbals is what some one at a higher level does. I'm saying I changed a lot this year, and "cheeper" cymbals were what I saw as bad.

Re: Xs20's

By professional quality I mean a cymbal that will hold up gig after gig after gig without blowing up (cheaper cymbals). So we agree!

Re: Xs20's

XS20's are a B20-alloy cymbal in an intermediate price-range. That, at the very least would make them good value.

I found that the Paiste Alphas are good for
recording too.

Re: Xs20's

At 2 o'clock today I went to Guitar center Canton and tested the Paiste
Alphas vs. the sabian Xs20's.
Here's what I found...
-The finish on the Xs20's was very similar to the Paragons.
-The bells were very small and had a very small difference in sound even on the ride
-The Alphas have larger bells and have a very defined sound.
-you can see the hammer marks on the cymbals
-The alphas where thick and durable.
-the 16'' and 18'' I was very impressed.
-the Xs20's, however, did sound good and had good feel
I'm gonna have to go with the Alphas........
so far.
