Cracked Cymbals.

Gday guys,

If anyone of you heavy/light drummers have cracked cymbals, i'd like to see you guys post a few pictures of them. I've seen over 700+ cymbals come and go and seen the damage heavy metal drummers AND suprisingly rnb drummers have produced.

If you have any cracked cymbals, and are unsure of what you're going to do with them slap them up, ill be more than happy to tell you what could be done.

With this in mind, the economic climate isn't the best, so most of us are buying or repairing more 2nd hand cymbals and cracked cymbals, as they are cheaper. The adv of this cracked cymbals, are that they sound good and they can be used for practise, whereas your new shiny cymbals can be used for gig's (chicks dig shiny).

Thanks again champs.

Re: Cracked Cymbals.

My Sound Percussion 16'' crash is really really messed up.
not cracked, though because it's as thick as the Hover Dam
I'll post pics though.

I plan on getting new cymbals for my birthday next month.
The cymbal will go with the kit when I sell it... hopefully.
You got to see this thing.
The edges are warped.
it's 5 years old almost. I'll get them up soon.
Happy drumming all.

Re: Cracked Cymbals.

I bought a three piece set of 1967 Ludwig drums that came with a Sabian B8 Rock Plus 20" ride and a Sabian AAX Stage Crash 16". I'm selling off all of the stuff besides the three drums. The 16" Stage Crash has a approx. 2.5 inch crack along the base of the bell. It's not noticeable unless you really look for it. The cymbal sounds pretty good to me and I have vintage Avedis Zildjian cymbals and some modern Zildjian K's to compare. I want to sell off the cymbals, the Tama Stagemaster HH35W Hi-Hat (like new), plus the older Tama cymbal stand. The cymbal stand looks like a top of the line Road Pro HC72WN, with the same quick adjusting tilter, but also has the quick adjusting extension hardware (like the quick release on my Trek mountain bike). It's a great stand, but I don't need it. Any suggestions as to what these items are worth? Anyone interested? I'm willing to ship at whatever the actual cost is. I live in Winnipeg, MB, Canada. 1-204-832-2800 home. Thanks, Barry
