Hey, was thinking of purchasing a 14 or 16'' stagg china cos of the budget price - was hoping to go for SH; any suggestions on whether DH is worth the extra money, or how decent the SH sounds?

I don't know if stagg makes good chinas,
You'll have to wait until someone say so or not.
But I use a 14'' Wuhan china for what I got it for was $25.

My local only has the sh's as well. But they sound pretty good. My advise, never buy a cymbal you haven't played. If your shop has the china and you like it then buy that one. You could spend $1000 ordering in a paiste signature and not be happy when it rocked up.
