Wow, that guy is out of his mind. That cymbal has a crack in it that has a hole drilled in order to stop the crack.

Unless that is John Bonham's autograph and that cymbal was the first Zildjian he ever broke it isn't worth that to me.

Well it looks like that is a signature. So if it's real it could be worth a lot of money but that still is a lot of $

That's not a crack in the cymbal that has been drilled, it has been drilled for a rivet to make the cymbal sizzle. This is a vintage cymbal from when Zildian cymbals were still made in Istanbul Turkey. This cymbal without a signature is somewhat of a collectors item, with a signature of a famous drummer it could be even more valuable if the signature can be authenticated. I'm not up on what collectors will pay for these but I do know this particular cymbal is a collectors item, and will be priced accordingly.

Ah that sounds like a reasonable explanation to me.

You can't really see in the picture too clearly (old eys and a bad pic), but it looks as thought there is a crack coming up from that edge, thats why I said what I did.

Thanks for the clarification CD.

Sounds like a nice cymbals.
You should ask the seller who's signature that is.
