These wipes work on everything. Been using them for a few years now. Remember to use cotton gloves and rinse them well with a wet towel and use a good dry towel afterward to buff them up.

Keep skin contact away as much as possible and wear goggles.

I just ordered those wipes!
(:
I usually use the polish I use to detail cars on them;
but this seems WAY easier.

You'll never regret it. These swipes are great. Have you seen my kit yet. I can actually see myself in the cymbals.

I know it's a scary site, but it's the shine that I really like.

Re: nylon tip cymbal marks

Hey Lucius!

I play the XS20's. Had them since last September, so mine are the natural finish not the 'brilliant'. The key is to wipe them down right after every practice or performance. While all of the posters who have responded have given you good advice, I have to say what works best for me is just plain old windex. Like you have read, stay away from the logo's, as they will wear off rapidly. I have a windex spiked cotton lint free towel in one hand and a clean unsullied one in the other. Using this method I'm, cleaning and shining at the same time. But like I said you have to clean immediately after you play them. I do wear a really tight pair of leather work gloves while I'm doing this. Now some of you are going to say 'Windex!!!??, are you crazy? But I've been doing it forever with no ill effect to the cymbals at all. You can really never get the little strike marks off if you look at them in the right light anyway.

Re: nylon tip cymbal marks

Or you could do it the Shelby Way and just wipe off your cymbals with a terry cloth, then apply Bug & Tar Remover to the other side(just a dab, though!) and apply it like you are waxing a car, wax on and wax off.

Then take the clean side(without the Remover on it) and wipe it clean of residue, and voila! clean cymbals(:

Done.

Would that be the Carol Shelby....famous for his design of the Shelby Cobra Ford Mustang? I didn't know he was an expert on cleaning Cymbals. Amazing! Must have something to do with the bug and tar remover.
