Yes' cleaning your cmybal's in a must ......

Last longer and they keep the sound that you want out of them ....

Don't clean them like you should ..Just don't get the Great sound out of them ...

about 3 or 5 month's of cleaning .....

Just like Polish and waxing your car Or truck every time on the weekend .......Hell no need of it .....YOu only wax and polish that dam thing Once ,Year .if that .Some time's you don't have to do that ...only depends on the Paint you have ...

Me i clean my old zildjian's with Mother's Polish ....and a buffer .and by hand ...

atlease 2 time's to get all the over stuff off of it ..

I agree completely I think the high end really comes out btter when your cymbals arre clean. I also preffer cymbals with a Brilliant finish. What's the point of getting those if you don't keep them clean ? But your gonna get an argument here as sure as I'm hung like a bull. On this issue there's 2 camps those who clean and those who don't. I'm firmly in the cleaning camp. Besides there my cymbals and I can clean them if I want too so there. T

What kind of Buffer do you use? Do you mean a car Buffer?

Must be a random orbital buffer. Otherwise you'll end up with buffer marks.
