Re: cymbal Help

in my experience.............because i always will have a low budget until i move out and get famous.....but back to the subject......in my experience, the lower lines like zbt and b8 sound best in the thin crashes.......

i own a pair of zil zht 14" rock hats, an 18" b8 pro thin crash, a 20" b8 medium ride, and a 14" aax mini china........

you can go thicker in the hats so that they are loud and will have a good chick sound, thin in the crashes for character and tone, and whatever ride you like.....i also crash my ride a lot.

Re: cymbal Help

If your willing to think out of the box, Wuhan's "new Traditional " series is a great way to start out. The BIG3 without ecpetion use B8 sheet stamped cymbals for their entry level lines. Wuhan uses hand made B20 bronxe in their entry level Series. You can get a 8, 10, 12 " spalsh a 14". 16" and 18" C/r plus a 20" medium ride cymbals and a 14" pair od HH for $359.00 that aslo include a Wuhan logo cymbal bag. Plus free shipping to the Us. It's a great deal by all means. You can sample what each cymbal sounds like ny checking out Cymbals and Snares items - Get great deals on Cymbals, Drum Sticks items on eBay Stores! They're are hi-def digital audio filed for each listing. A very useful tool. If you have a little bit more money then I would highly recommend som Silkens and intremediate to Pro level cymbal out of china. These are by fat the best chinese made cymbals on the market today. Check out the website you've got nothing to loosed and quality cymbals at half to 1./3 rd the cost of the western guys. T
