Adult Drum Tournament IE and I have recently been trying to organize a huge Drum Tournament on the forum. Details on the Forum Tournament can be found in the thread titled Forum Drum Tournament, that is, when it becomes apparent that the need for such a thread exists and is created, once interest is expressed here.
In order for the Forum Tournament to happen, however, there must also be an adult tournament, otherwise there will only be a youth tournament.
Any ACTIVE DSC member over the age of 16 (for now, i will talk to IE about setting a higher age, because 16 is still "youth" to me) may join the adult tournament.
You must be active enough to participate and know changes in rules.
On this thread, any interests or concerns can be discussed, as it is unknown whether the adult community has any interest in such a battle.
There must be AT LEAST 8 competitors, so if you are willing and able to participate, please inform us here.

Re: Adult Drum Tournament Do we actually need youth and adult competitions? You guys had pretty good skills and I know I had some better skills when I was ateenager.
I think if you guys want the numbers you might have to combine and we'll all pit our stuff against eachother. Anyhow I'll totally have crack. |

Re: Adult Drum Tournament I agree with you 100% old man.
Things like Bursitis, Arthritis, and all the other Theocrituses tend to slow us down a bit as we age.
But I've seen you in action. I think your still a little young enough to take them on.
Wouldn't you say so Der old man. |

Re: Adult Drum Tournament I think to be a drummer you have to be young spirited anyhow, but slapper can still hang with the teeners no doubt. I have $500 monopoly says slapper takes em. |

Re: Adult Drum Tournament haha
how long have you been playing, skin?
as for combining the tournaments, if we need to that would be fine, some rules might change, though. |

Re: Adult Drum Tournament I think before we talk about actually making a big tournament out of youth and experienced, (I didn't want to call them old. We all know age is just a number. )
I think we should know if they're on board.
So, wise and experienced, who would like to take on the challenge?? |

Re: Adult Drum Tournament I can beat any old man. I just need some hacking equipment and maybe a baseball bat. I still need the answer if I body can fit in a bass drum before I take someone on. |

Re: Adult Drum Tournament I've been playing since I was 14, so about 16 years now. Mind you, not every year has been a developing one. |
