I feel that the word "BATTLE" in itself seems to detour females from the competition. Now if they were to be enticed by an award like a shopping spree or some sort of female gift reward. That would probably work.
Not realizing that their talents could be noticed instead which would be more rewarding because you never know when some talent scout might be checking out this forum. Looking for some new talent.

Talent agents are all over the place man.
It just depends how into drums the female competitors are
to deside what the get. This will all probably
happen in due time. Until then, we can only wonder.
Awesome playing. Great inspiration. When I get some half decent chops going I might enter the female contest. Wouldn't mind seeing a chick just sit into some nice funky (chunky) grooves though.
Well female drummers might have a different opinion but knowing a lot of adults, they could settle for coupons, it doesn't have to be an entire shopping spree. I ate a maggot during lunch one day, my mom called the company, and she settled for 2 coupons. Don't get me wrong, I am not sexist, but I would like to see a female drum TUSSLE.
