I've done another video test, this time with the set completely mic'd up. Here it is:
All I did was mic the kit up, and everything went into my mixing console, then I took an output from the mixing console and went straight into my camcorder which has a line-in jack for audio.
As this is a tester, you will hear a slight buzzing prior to my playing, so audio-wise, this isn't ideal, but the drums do sound ok. If I want better, what I must do is record the video and audio separately, which I will try on my next one. But this is what you can do with my minimal mic set-up and a line going directly into the camcorder. Let me know what you think. All comments welcomed!
