Re: Cajon & Stomp Box Groove :)

I'm really impressed that a box like that can be so versitile. Makes me wanna add it to my 9 pcs Gretsch kit.

Very good overall, it's the first time I've seen one of those.

On this side of the pond, Cajon music is quite different. More like the Louisiana and Creol flavor of music.

Keep up the great work.

Re: Cajon & Stomp Box Groove :)

Thanks a lot Much appreciated!

Yes I think Cajon music generally is not really this kind of style - I'm very much a funk player and so I guess this comes out quite a lot in my cajon playing lol I'm having fun learning other styles too that are more traditional so that I can mix them up a bit more.

Thanks again for taking a look!

Katie

Re: Cajon & Stomp Box Groove :)

Cajon pronounced Cahon in Spanish which means wooden box.

Cajun is what I meant to say before in the last post.

If you like Funk or Funkadelic, check out bands like "Sly and the Family Stone" and Grand "Funk Railroad" on YouTube.com.

They where the heavy hitters from the past.

Good luck and have fun.
