Drum Solo Freestyle.

So heres a solo-type thing showing some of my skills. I kinda just sat down and hit record and i dident think much to what i was playing. My blasts were kinda sloppy because i have no double kick right now and its hard to play those 32nd note blast beats without it, but im working on getting my right foot adjusted to it. So anyway, i'd appreciate some constructive criticism from you guys, tell me what i could do better, and any new techniques i could learn to make me a better drummer. Thanks

Thumbs up Re: Drum Solo Freestyle.

It's good when ya play from da heart without having to think about it, otherwise it wouldn't be freestyle.

Tempo was a little off in the first minute or so but you caught on to it quickly.

Really nice riffs all the way around. I also imagined a second pedal in my own head. It will fill in just perfect with one.

Overall, it's pretty good. I rated it a thumbs up.

Re: Drum Solo Freestyle.

Right after the first snare roll. There was a little change in the timiming.

Nothing to worry about since it was a spontanious thing you were doing.

It's something all of us drummers do when just playing around with the drums.

I do it allot, especially when I'm trying to find a real nice groove in freestyle jazz playing.

Like I said, it's it's pretty good.
