check out my new kit :)

just for laughs. i'm waiting on my luddies to be built and couldn't go drumless. So i purchased this childrens set. gotta watch those kneecaps!! it hurt like hell when i smacked them a few times!! i might as well sit on the floor because the throne is so low i fell over a few times that day. please keep in mind that the snare drum is very difficult to roll on and the bass pedal has almost no springiness! The snare has internally mounted wires --which are pretty much a half of a snare strand, and it presses against the head as you turn the dial -- similar to the dampening mechanisms found on vintage drums

Ryan, not to bad meester. I did notice your discipline when you were able not to hit your knee on your chin while operating the kick, well done.

Re: check out my new kit :)

in that video i didn't hit my knee...in the others i did a few times...i made a few other takes that had much better fills and faster playing...but i liked the groove on this one better...the other vids are also longer and "harder" playing and i figured it would be overkill on a children's kit...

I was ribbing you about the knee to the chin my friend. All told that was pretty good for a mini kit.
