Cool man, you're doin alright. Are you currently getting lessons?

If wanna put some better recordings down, just get the cheapest microphone you can find. Jam it into the back of your pc, then go and download either Audacity, or Ntrack shareware from fasoft.com and you'll get something a bit better sounding for free.

If you get a chance stop by www.myspace.com/atfault and tell me what you think of my band, it sounds right up your alley.

Well, thankyou very much. I'm currently putting some finishing touches to my home studio while we lay some tracks down, so hopefully I'll have some better material to post soon.

Cool, good solid grooving.
You could use a lot more variety though. A lot of your playing got repetitive after a while. You can afford to do more especially if it's a drum solo and not a song with a band.

Sound quality wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. Keep drumming hard! That's pretty good for one year.

I though that it was a solid groove but here are some things to work on.

1. work on your timming some more, play with a metronome if you got one.
2. work on your fills some more and it will make your music sound more whole.
3. get that freakin snare tuned it sounds like a**

rember that this is just constructive critqueing and thats all.
I can tell you that you far surpassed what I was playing in one year, and I would also say that you might just have what it takes to make it as a really good drummer (cant make your head to big yet)
but keep it up and rember that it isnt a great drumset or super equipment that makes a great drummer it is the drummer ability to play that steady rythum and keep a solid tempo and make a crowd go wow check out the drummer not what he's playing on.

keep up the great work and keep getting some more recordings on here you do sound really good.

Im sorry I couldnt help it thing sounded like a timbale or somthing I couldnt even here the snare sound to it at all. Im not here to hurt feelings or anything like that, I really just want to help and let our younger players know just how well they are doing and what the can do to do better.

but snare got on my nerves, just like Im sure my spelling does for most of you

hahaha, a snare sounding like a timbale... maybe he muffled it with a cloth, it really dries out the snare sound and turns it reall dead. like a timbale.
