Well, I have been backed into a drum. It seems having a video on the net is 'credibility'. Well here is .... a sound test,sound check, video check and reality check. This one handed (my left hand is recovering from a break) with my new drums, Ok so I will add , These Pearl are Reference with 10,12,14,16,18 22. I haven't played until this. My wife set them up under direction, by the way she doesn't play drums much and shes pregnant. They are not tuned , have old heads and sound terrible. When my "broken hand heals properly I will bring out my Protools rig and record them the way they deserve, This is not a 'drum solo' 'interpretation' 'free form artistic' solo or 'wank' session or whatever else you wanna read into. This is not trying to show off or do anything that might cause a viewer or reader 'emotional' upset. It is purely to show I am not a 'ghost'. You can leave smart comments or even be 'critical' maybe even 'critique' the sound check but for me to reply they better really grab my attention! There is no consistency theme or timing intended. It is purely a sound check!!!!!!.i truly hope this is clear. The only thing in here is an odd time signature that well, I am sure there is at least one person who can pick it!!!!, but I ain't gonna reveal that.. tell you what your so clever, you tell me....

I thought you did fine under the circumstances, and you do demonstrate some skill. And yeah it was painful to watch, but I have to give you props for nerve.

Still drop the martyrdom. You are way too comfortable around a drum forum not to know that you are supposed to demonstrate if you choose to be a smack talking commentator. Nobody backed you into this corner but you and your big mouth.

And...tune the drum man.

But mainly...sorry all I saw were hands. Somebody to identify with (a human body) is mandatory. And no one still is sure you are actually injured. A full body shot could have told us a lot more...and I think you know that.

Gimme under the circumstances I'd say that was pretty good. I look forward to hearing the new set when you have it tuned, and you have two good arms to demonstrate it properly.

wow,well I don't really know what to say to that.As far as I'm concerned,you r more of a ghost now than before.That was completely anonymous noodling.I could hand a stick to my 11 y/o and he could pull that off.I mean you didn't even hit a cymbal.Why the long winded explaination of the video.Does anyone else have a chance to post all thier excuses as a preemtive to thier vid?You basically said you will ignore all criticism you don't agree with!WTF!I didn't expect much...but jeesh that was a pretty lame submission.And you said my vids are crap!Dude!Who can't play a basic 3 piece rhythm with one hand?I'm SO confused.Why put forth the effort to have your pregnant wife assemble your kit under your supervision and then record that.And then to submit that after all that has gone down in these forums with your overaggressive criticism.I'm confused.Over.
