I shot 3 videos yesterday.This is the last one.The first one is pretty bad(warming up) and I'll save myself the verbal assault and refrain from posting that one here.The 2nd is the Drum Battle Piece that you can see in the battle arena...vs Skinslapper(you guys are slacking,I was expecting more activity over there,c'mon,I'm taking on a mod!)GO THERE AND VOTE FOR THE MOST METAL DRUMMER!This being the 3rd one,I was starting to warm up a bit and this clocks in at 7 minutes.It starts w/ my typical metal feel,but be patient and it does get interesting....well except for the botched attempt at a one handed roll...some days that works others it doesn't!Let me know what you guys think.If you must bash,be prepared to get called out in the battle forum,no more anonymous judgement unless you are ready to show us what you got!
Double bass filled/overpowere dsome of teh cool stuff But it was a good vid fo' sho' haha, I can one hand roll on my marching snare..schools snare but I can't on my set, dunno. Rim's taller on the marching snares than mine, but still :P . Good job though
yeah,I tend to have a harder time w/ the 1hand roll on my 14" as opposed to my 13" snare.Its a very touchy thingThanx so much for checking out my vid Shazaam and for your insight!
nnot a problem...btw, you just usin the mic on whatever camera you usin? Or miced a tad? Cause it sounds perty good...considering. My cameras mic barely pics up my bass Tried recording with the mic/headset I use on the comp, still doesn't wanna pick up the bass
yeah,thats just the camera mic.I put the blanket over the bass drum to kinda knock down some of the sound.It was very loud in that room.The camera is actually in another room about 12 feet or so away from the kit.I just zoomed it in a bit to appear closer.If I get too close evrything begins to wash out.Try backing up the camera a bit.I know it may sound wierd but the spacing may actually give your recording more seperation when it comes to your kick and the rest of your kit.
