Wow! What a finish on that solo! I fell out of my recliner and racked myself on a snare I'm repairing! Couldn't tell how much of that was your snare and how much was gunfire.

Yeah, Der Trommler and Tainojim are still kicking! Are you personally responsible for their sordid behavior, Phil? The forum can no longer cover the therapy bills.

Well, I'd like to travel over and show you how to drink sometime.

Cheers man - yeah on the beer since 8pm - about 10 beers later before the gig - normally I only have max 2 before a gig - but at a bikers rally - you just gotta go with the vibe - as you do - I'm Irish what do you expect :0) - and a drummer - should I say more :0)

Yo man - no not responsible for their sordid behaviour - but certainly encourage it as much as possilbe :0) !! - The two boys have been a great help to me over the last year - with selecting gear (DW Kit) still have not forgiven Der for that one - only kidding best kit I ever bought and Jim has been great with old school advise - yeah man I was happy with the skins - you can always do better on reflection afterwards, but when your in the moment you just go for it - thanks for the kind words!! - Phil

Phil! Great to see you my friend! Was getting worried that you got famous and forgot about us. Haven't watched the vid you posted yet but I will, and also take a look at the website then too.

What would you have done differently if you had to do it again out of curiosity?

Cheers Der - Getting there I think?? I would have played the conga longer and slower my nerves got the better of me - and on the triplets at the end would have played them longer and less dis-jointed - maybe a bit of rudiment work between triplets rather than stops - few other bitz - but certainly happy enough with the overall vibe - just a few small bitz and pieces for the next time - the guy recording missed the start of the song Moby Duck pitty as its a great build up -

I always pop on the site now and then - it would be great if the site had a real time talk option like facebook - gets a bit difficult having to post and repost to have a chat.

I think my nerves took over I'd had a good few beers but by the time the solo came around I had sweated that much I was mostly sobber - I use the word mostly losley:0) but made sure to re-oil the body once the gig was over got to sleep for 7am the next morning - getting to old for this madness - then again!!
