Hi i'm Josh and i'm 17, i've been drumming for just under 2 years now and i'm still discovering new and bizarre concepts, and loving every minute of it

Hey, cheers for the hellos and I'm just on a 5 piece rock kit atm (Performance Percussion) but with a Mapex P500TW double kick, (all cymbals Zildjian ZBT) 14'' hi-hats, 16" thin crash, 18" crash and a 20" ride

and i prefer playing Metal/Prog Metal, so stuff like Metallica, Iron Maiden and Avenged Sevenfold, but also bands like Rush, Dream Theater and Tool

Awesome D00d I've been learning Vicarious by Tool this past 2 weeks. Do you play in a band or do any covers?

@Butter I used to be in a band, but my bassist was getting somewhat abusive so I left, but I've still got a couple of videos on Youtube but sadly my camera's not really good enough for me to do just plain drum covers, the sound gets a bit knobbled

Thanks, all of those are at this jam night that I go to, and i think that's what's helped me get better fairly quickly

have you got any vids?

Unfortunately, no. But I will be trying out for DCI soon (to get on 2012's line-up, not 2011's) so if I do get in you could check me out on Vic Firth(: Whoo. Ha
