Hi there fellow exponents of the greatest instrument in the world.. ok I know, tough call & flying in the face of all the great guitarists, bass players, keyboardists & even singers ( yes they are people too !)..No disrespect to anyone intended, but is the only one I can play..& want to play to the max
My name is Steve, I'm from Adelaide Australia & simply love the drums. I have played in bands but now mostly just annoy the neighbours with delicate sounds of the rumble at appropriate times of the day to keep the skills up...marriage & a kid seemed to get in the way of my rock n roll dream
...but I still find a way to keep spending cash on the kit with an occasional jam session to justify my need to "tune the kit with something new" !..
Kit is basically a 7 piece pearl export series...drum shells, lugs & rings are all approximately 17 years old now..all intact with nice wood & sounding sweet..
Cymbals are Zildjan..a mix of A custom & Armand series with a K series 19" China
Currently have 3 toms up on a DR501C Pearl rack sitting sweet over a single 24" bass drum getting thumped by a Pearl P902 double pedal..( love this pedal for the price for sure)...influences range from Blues to Jazz to Santana to Heavy to Metal...the last one is giving me cramps I think...work through the pain I say
