Looking forward to using this site. Question: Ready to purchase either a 3 piece Taye studio maple set for $1050 (all I can afford right now) or I came across a 7 piece Gretsch catilina maple set for $799. Should I hold out for the Taye set or will the Gretsch set be a pretty good maple set?
My dream is a Tama Starclassic Bubinga/Birch but not enough cash right now. My style is rock to playing in a miked setting at a big church. Thanks for your help. Joe
