Question George Drewry, IN EAR MONITERS HELP!

Hey guys, my name is George, im 18 and currently in a touring band In england called "Bad Touch" www/badtouchrocks.co.uk we have recently begun playing venues such as the Norwich Waterfront and O2 Academies (1000-5000 capacity venues) regularly as supporting acts, and due to this increased exposure to better sound setups myself and our singer have invested in a dual, In ear Monitoring system (an Ashton transmitter and receiver with Shure SE425 earpieces)

We also have moulded earplugs for when we play smaller stages without a dedicated sound guy or for when not all the gear is mic'd

does anyone have any advice on how best to use these monitors? or anything to be aware of? or anything to be careful of! haha.

Just in case your interested I play a Tama Starclassic Maple Kit and Sabian AAX cymbals. I use Remo coated emperor and evans EMAD drumheads, Tama Roadpro hardware, a Tama Iron cobra pedal and Wincent 5B drumsticks

thanks for any help!

Hey George, great to have you along.

Just checked out your bands video nice work, it looks the early 90's are back with a vengence.
You're letting the side down hairwise though, the rule is grow it out or shave it off

Can't say much about in ear monitoring as I've never used it, but I can say it's a great idea along with the earplugs to protect your ears. Your young and the better you preserve those tools the better.

Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your success.
