Hello All,

I've been playing drums since about 1970. My parents bought me a five-piece Ludwig kit with a black diamond pearl finish back in 1976 and it still looks and sounds great. I was thinking of buying a new kit, but I sunk just about every penny into my son's four-piece DW Collectors Series kit, so that dream will be on hold for the next decade or so! It was worth it, though. Unbelievable drum set.

I "chucked" the corporate marketing gig about a year ago and started a web site called Drum Set Guide. It's mostly geared toward beginning and intermediate drummers, and I've been having a blast with it. "Living the dream," as my son says.

I couldn't notice that you also use the drum dial. I works great on my son's 9 pcs Gretsch kit.
