[Classic Banger]

Hello All Percussionists,
My first post here, though I've been checking the site for awhile. I've been playing drums for the last 40 years. Early on my teachers were mostly jazz, but I mostly have Rocked Out. Played clubs for a living for some time, a couple records and some air play. Took a little time off to get married and raise kids....that's done...now I'm back. Been playing my original Rogers kit, vintage 1975, also a Yamaha DTX electronic kit. Playing with two bands right now, one classic rock the other a lite blues jazz thing with an awesome vocalist. Live and play in the L.A. area for the last 30 yrs.

Hey banger in LA,
I,m from Minnesota and have played Rogers about 30 years ago and LOVED them. They sounded so good I hated to sell them. But, I have had other sets that have been great also, Slingerland, Ludwig, and now a new Gretsch kit.
Nice to know there other drummers out there whom have played, had kids and play again. Life is good. SO play till death and rock out all the way in your style. Steve c.
