Thoroughly agree. Nice to meet you.

35 years huh? What are your earliest influences and what was your first kit, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks for asking. Had problems logging in... Woulda responded last night..

earliest influences...
Don Brewer - Grand Funk Railroad

Phil Ehart - Kansas ROCKS!!!!

Carmine Appice - (Specifically the work he did with Jeff Beck and Tim Bogart, as well as a few songs with Pink Floyd and Ozzy)

Billy Cobham - When he was with Chick Corea.... of course he's played with about everyone on the planet... lol

John Bonham - Boy we lost a great one there huh?

Carl Palmer - Everything ELP wow!

Tommy Aldridge - GREAT Power Player

Bill Bruford - His work with Yes blew me away....

These are only a FEW of what I'd call my Earliest influences

Latter influences include

Vinnie Colaiuta, Gregg Bissonette, Mike Portnoy, Just to name a few from the top of my head.

My first kit... well it real;y wasn't a kit at all it was a 26" x 14" Slingerland Kick with a 14" rack tom mounted on the side... I beat the living crap out of it... wish I still owned it today, it'd prolly be worth some good cash cause ya just don't see things like that around anymore. It was made in the 1930's... prolly 39 er so.

Cool man, Hey, don't forget to check out the gallery. Ironman has a ludwig visalite in there which is a major Bonham tribute.
