Greetings ladies 'n gents

I've been playing drums on and off for about 5 years. Primarily an rhythm guitarist but took up bass and then drums because of lack of musicians. Lately I'm playing drums more than the other instruments. Its extremely enjoyable and fulfilling, though I often get in over my head as I'm usually game to try any groove/beat I'm asked to play.
My own kit is a dw (it was called a bebop set when I bought it, but has since expaned) which I love. The kit I play in a band setting is a pearl brx birch session kit with a full compliment of sabian cymbals (aax, hand hammered and paragon) on an icon rack. I look forward to learning as much as I can and playing as often as opportunities provide.

Thanks Skin....

I didn't actually go looking for a DW set, but Guitar Center had the original 4pc shell pak at such a low price(because of the smallish 16x18BD). So I couldn't resist buying them. Oh, and on the pic's in the gallery request... Done!

Hey, I just checked those pics, we've got the exact same snare drum.

Of course, yours is a lot younger and better looking than mine. I'm waiting on a new di-cast hoop to come in as my old one is all out of shape.

Careful you don't scratch that shell. It's got this film over it to stop it from rusting, but once you nick it, the rust starts forming underneath and you can't get it out.
