Hi,
My Name is Adam and I currently Live outside of Philly. I grew up in upstate NY, where I started playing drums in middle school. I studied rock and jazz through private lessons up through high school where I joined my school's Jazz Band. Once I graduated and moved out to PA to attend tech school I settled in with many musically rich friends, and was tossed headfirst into Philadelphia's local music scene. From there my musical taste grew immensely. In high school I was never able to successfully start any serious bands, most kids were not interested in that type of commitment. But I was lucky enough to find myself to be friends with some serious musicians, so when a member left my friends band,
Planet of Sound, I was called to try out for the open position. Thus far things are going great, and we have our first gig with me on the drums next week.
So I'm glad to say my musical life is moving in a positive direction, and when I stumbled upon this website I was Glad to join to get connected with the other drummers in the world and maybe learn some good information.
