guess i'll say hi, i'm new here.
i started playing drums at 16...i've been in 4 bands, played drums in 3. I haven't played drums in about 3 years up until 2 weeks ago. I finally got a house where i could get another acoustic set. (i don't like electronic sets much)
So, I had no hobbies really and i was working a lot and i was inspired last month to do what i used to love and that was..play music...and especially drums.
I used to own a pearl export and since i had sold them ..the new kit i picked up was a pacific x7 (i know,...not my first choice but it was a pretty good buy for the money)
i also picked up a set of zildjian zbts and a gilbralter hardware set. The snare that came with the set was god awful and i gave it back for a pork pie little squeeler...(NICE!)
...if you asked me which drums i thought were the best...well...you usually pay for what you get.
anything over 6 ply and maple usually sounds good.
i have experience playing punk and alternative...
my future ambitions are to conquer the double bass pedal (finally)
