Hello all, I am 44 and am brand new to drumming. My whole life I have wanted to get involved in music and drums in particular. Finally I have the opportunity to explore drumming and am excited to learn and grow to be a competant musician. I have a 3 year old I want to expose to music early unlike I was able to so her I go. I was in my mid 40s when I started drumming also, although I played other instruments prior to that. Drumming is probably the most fun instrument to learn, and a great way to vent all those pent up frustrations after a bad day at work. Welcome aboard and fire away with any questions you might have. There are a lot of knowledgeable and talented drummers on here to help.
