Hello all/ new to drumming/ dont even own a drum

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry to burst your bubble but everybody that's "GREAT" at rock band thinks that they can be a drummer. Sorry not even close.
Playing a toy as opposed to a real instrument is very different.
Start off with a basic kit, you can always add on later.
Get a good teacher and develop good paratice habits. Learn the rudiments. And most of all have fun.

I realize that Rockband is a toy, i'm 15 not 5. But it does help get down some basics (good form, stamina etc.) I dont expect to be amazing at the drums because I'm good at Rockband.

I wont have a teacher, instead opting for DVD's and Books (Learning Drums With Lars Ulrich...)

I didn't mean to imply that you were a 5 year old. Sorry you took offense. Really what I mean is that I have had friends that are amazing on the drums on rock band get behind one of my kits and didn't know their ass from their elbow LOL. I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Well isnt this amazing, EVERY PLACE ON EARTH IS SOLD OUT OF EXPORT SERIES/ THEY ARE NOT RESTOCKING. I need an alternative drum set to the export around the same price.
