I'm currently using
evans g2 clear on my toms (g1 on the bottom). This is a popular combo amongst many metal heads. John Tempesta, Danny Carey, Vinnie Paul. If you a tad more focus get the coated, or a lot more focus the EC2.
Emad is a great sounding bass drum head with interchangable dampening on the front. If you like the short
attack of drummers like Chris Adler and Joey Jordison, i recomend putting a danmar falam pad on your batter head. It's a little plastic disc that gives you really good smacking feel. And if you're going to put a hole in your reso head, start with a clean 4" hole, then expand if you need to. Once you've made it bigger than 6", you may as well not have a head there, but many players prefer that too.
For snare I can recomend the
remo genera power dot. Lots of tone, with just a touch of focussing in the middle. I use standard hazy on bottom.
You can hear the results at my bands site below.
