Hello Online Drumming Friends,

I'm here to let you all know about a new Online Lesson System that is very different from most online lessons. Unlike most others, where you can learn tons of radical fills, how to build blazing double bass chops, etc, GrooveisKing.com, Professional Drum Lessons Online, focuses on the techniques and concepts necessary to compete and succeed in today's contemporary music scene. These concepts and techniques are geared toward drummers interested in becoming repeat session players and/or reliable, qualified touring drummers. There are 2 tracks, a 'Beginner' Track and an 'Intermediate/Advanced' Track.

The system is set up in modules that deal with technique/concepts; inside industry interviews and clinics with session drummers, producers, educators, music directors, etc.; real world/practical application of rudiments and technique; musical part creation and approach to serving the music; and many other cool features. There will be monthly giveaways of media and gear; the unique 'Band-N-A-Pod' practice material (play along loops and tracks with and without click track), and regular progress evaluation from the GIK staff.
