hello drum world!! i just registered here because i was looking for drum set reviews and found this site. i played drums, bass and a little piano throughout my teenage years (i'm 34) and i'm looking to get back into it because my love of music is too strong. anyway, i came across a complete drum set that had been abandoned by a church. i'm looking to get the heads, symbols, etc., restored. the brand is starion. i looked at the making of the drum shells and wasn't sure of the quality, so my research of the brand is what really brought me to this site. i hope to add to the forum in someway and perhaps, make a few virtual friends.

Welcome to the forum Majdi. What a nice find -- even if the brand isn't well known, you can't beat getting free drums (I guess you can beat them, as long as you get new skins LOL). Regardless of the quality, most drums will sound good with nicely tuned heads. I wish you the best of luck in putting together a good kit and dusting off the cobwebs.
