Hey Giffs, Welcome to the forum. Some lessens will really help you get started on the right foot. I started on a CB percussion set also, they are solidly made and will work fine to get you started. You do have an awful high angle on those toms, I would suggest flatening them out a little. Have fun with us and let us know how you're progessing.

Welcome to the forums dude. Yeah im doing the same pretty much teaching myself hehe. Its the easyyyyy way to learn =] slower tho. :S

Hi Church Drummer I've only had the kit for 48hr's & I've already got a new Bass Pedal (Pearl) did'nt cost anything traded for it, the Pearl is much smoother. I'm thicking of doing the samething with the Hi Hat that will cost me $30. What do you think, I start lessons next week.
