Timing Tips Pleazzzze


I need help on my timing, how can I improve this? Any exercises?

Just always make sure you play along to a metronome, or a strobe light or whatever suits you. Always! When practicing.

Sometimes good drummers lift the high hats quietly while not playing on them to help keep time.

I like using the Tama metronome. Practice everything with the metronome and it should help you out.

We've been talking about this on another thread, but depanding how much doh you have, I can largely suggest getting a electronic kit (or just a few pads and a module). they have a built in metronome that you change the volume with whilst still hearing drum sounds. I've tried using other metronomes over my accoustic kit and I just can't hear them.

I'm selling a brand-new roland td-3 in the for sale section btw. I could point you in the right direction for some cheap pads too if you're interested.
