Howdy, I just found this site yesteday and so far it's great!

I'm one of those old guys that's still going... joined a classic rock/country rock band just after the new year but we're still working up our song list and practicing hard. I play drums and sing in this band. I mention this because I've also been in bands where I sang and played guitar.
I have a set of 1975 Slingerlands with all new hardware (the old Slingerland hardware is stored in a closet) that I leave at our practice facility. And a set of Ludwig accents for practice at home.

I think so too... it has that certain feel of a bunch of older guys that aren't afraid of making fools of themselves

I have a question for you guys... don't many people use the buy and sell forum here? It sure doesn't have many current posts.

And since I mentioned it... I just tried to start a thread in the buy & sell forum and it said I wasn't approved for that... I can't find a policy in the FAQ, can someone direct me to the usage rules?

It turns out you must be a premium member here before you can use the for sale forum. Great idea to try to increase monitary support for the site, but kind of a drag for us new users.

I was able to find this out by looking at somethnig that explained the benifits of premium membership. It isn't mentioned in any stick rules post or otherwise.

That is a cool band name, has a clever ring to it. Do you have any recordings of the band you can share? I would like to hear your set actually. I am curious to see how the different shells all come together.
