G'day all..

Well where to start.. Aspiring drummer for some 20 years, but never did a thing about it.. So turned 39 and decided that today was the day.. Started drum lessons.

Have just purchased a Gretsch Blackhawk (2009 model) and opted for Sabian B8 symbol set.. Also spec'd an extra stand for the extra symbal..

3 lessons down, and a new drum kit on the way.. Keen to do more, but scared of failing.. But if you don't fail, you have not tried..

I only wish i had started 20 years ago!!

Have had a quick read of the forum, and hopefully i will pick up a few pointers to help me down the path of being able to hold a beat..
