havnt been very active on the site, broke my sacrum (lower back bone) and have had to lay off drumming for a while. Started again this week end after months of recovery. I have been playing for a worship band for about 3years or so, however my future there is coming to an end and I know that I will be lead into new pastures !

I play PREMIER and love them to bits

Welcome back, Sharon! Sounds like a nasty injury and a pretty inactive recovery, I'm guessing. You must be glad to be making your way back.

One way to look at it is that there are never endings, there are only endless beginnings. We actually have a good-sized bit of pasture here out on the West 40. You may want to stay there for awhile.

Welcome back to the forum and nice to meet you! Sorry to hear about your back. I don't know what I would do if I had to lay off the drumming for any reason,..but to have done so with a broken back..sheeesh. Blessing of all kinds back at you, especially for your return to drumming!

Hey thanks all, it has been really hectic, I had withdrawal symtoms and felt very frustrated and at a loss, I would try and play and had to suffer thereafter with terrible pain so had to bite the bullet and just behave.

Thanks for the invite to the West for recovery, I presume you live in the USA,
I am from South Africa :-).

Played last weekend for the first time, it was great to say the least
