Smile Hi...am new here and this is my first post...

Hi everyone!

Am 64 years old and have been back drumming (am presently playing with a couple of church choirs; there I play with a fancy looking Pearl kit, but use one of my own snare drums) since mid '08 at the behest of my also drumming son; started doing this after a very long haitus (late '80s), tho.

My current drums are a mixture of a 4-piece Ludwig silver sparkle Down Beat (20, 14, 12, and 5" Supra; I bought it in 1966) kit, and recently added 16 plus 14 pre-serial floor toms, a '68 13x9 rack tom, 13" silver sparkle pre-serial piccolo, '66 KB/BB 6.5" d super sensitive and 5" Acro, plus 6.5" pre-serial, chrome-over-brass super sensitive snare drums.
Also added a 10" tom, custom built by John Riolo in Oregon, wrapped in silver sparkle.
Cymbals are mostly K and A Zildjians, ranging from 22"and 20" rides (including a flat top K ride), down to a, A 16" crash, 15" (two pairs) plus 14" hats; a 22" Diril ride, 18" Wuhan china, and 10" splash completes the array.

Also have on hand her at home a 1980 Tama Superstar kit (22, 16 FT., 14, 13, 12 rack toms and 8" deep super-mahogany Artstar and 6.5" Imperialstar steel snare drums) finished in satin mahogany, which am currently rehabbing (but my son has my '83 Tama super-mahogany Superstar drum set--24, 22, 18, 16, 14, 13, 12--which I purchased new in that year, at his place. Recently added 14, 13, 12, and 10 concert toms to that kit too)...
