Re: 100 Greatest Rock Drummers

Kieth Moon was amazing and one of my idols. I like dave Grohl but more as a guitarist song writer singer type of thing then a drummer. But I will say that Nirvana was awesome too bad about their end though

But he was a nutjob.

technically he wasn't as slick as a lot of people, but I defy you to find ANYBODY that played like him, or that can duplicate his imaginative way of playing, strange though it might be.

Not the best, but he was unique, which a lot of the gifted cannot say.

He's not my favorite BTW, just admired.

Re: 100 Greatest Rock Drummers

you know what???

i dont think theres really any point in going past 50 or so. after that they get to be unworthy of being listed, its just like, "ya, i guess hes alright".
of course, this list isnt correct at many places, but if i were to make something like this, it wouldnt be of 100 drummers.
gavin harrison at 100 he at least needs to be ahead of ringo. o well, whatever.

Did we all forget we're judging off a 5 year old list? I feel butter didn't....

But there are going to be some inaccurate things about it. I mean, some drummers may have got better, some worse. We need an updated list. Or we're just gonna keep getting mad at eachother.
