There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. The problem is that it takes a while to get there. What scares me is you don't know who is holding the flashlight at the other end.

Is that you DER.

Cool Re: Oldest drummer?

Oh sorry. I couldn't see very well with all the glare coming from that light. Must be a halogen type of flashlight. LED's aren't that bright.

Hey guys, haven't been around for a while. My band is still looking for a singer. How come so many people think they can sing when they really can't? Unlike drummers who know they can play drums...

Hi Mugsy, Der (Blech) Trommler und Tainojim ,

You see, I have this problem.
People tell me I was playing in the sixties in Amsterdam, and it is for sure the city where I was born, it is all in my pasport, but...I don't remember.

I do not even remember "The Tunnel"
What I do remember (vaguely) was that I must have had "tunnel vision", because I do recall that I was focussing quite a bit on the prettier examples of the opposite sex.

As for the quest to find a "Sabath" capable singer, Amsterdam is the place!
There are a lot of very high pitched singers who are not really gender specific....
Or you just have to recrute them from your good old rural home turf, one of those farmboys who failed to negotiate the barb-wire fence successfully .

Cheers and Happy Drumming,

Harry

Were those the dry heaves or chunky (like peanut butter)?

Seriously, if you remember anything clearly from a trip to Amsterdam, well then you didn't do it right (particularly a trip to Amsterdam in the 1960's).
